2021 Annual General Meeting and Panel Discussion

Our Annual General Meeting will begin with the business meeting, where we will provide a recap of our work over the past year and introduce our continuing and incoming Steering Committee members. 

We will then have a panel discussion on "Navigating the Legal Profession as Muslim Women". Despite having made great strides in the legal profession, women, especially Muslim women, continue to face various obstacles. We invite you to hear directly from accomplished Muslim women lawyers from different practice backgrounds about their experiences navigating the profession, including their successes, challenges, and advice for others carving out their own paths! Our panel discussion will feature Mariam Moktar, Naseem Mithoowani, Basmah Osman and Asma Bala. 

Following the panel, we will have a mix and mingle session where attendees can meet one another in breakout rooms!
